Health Insurance
ETSU does not provide health insurance for graduate students.
Domestic Students
Information about available options for personal coverage, including options under the Affordable Care Act, is available at: http://districtlms.wayanadregency.com/nursing/universityhealth/insurance.php
International Students
International students must enroll in an improved health insurance plan. Information is available at http://districtlms.wayanadregency.com/nursing/universityhealth/insurance.php and http://coverage2u.com/
If you plan to arrive in the U.S. before the effective date of your plan, you should buy short additional short term medical coverage.
If international students obtain a TA/RA/SA position that provides GAIP coverage, they may initially be charged for ISHIP but can request to be reimbursed by the ISHIP office (Links to an external site.).
